Nope. Actually it’s generally better to be the kin of man other men look down on. Seen way to many tier one and two guys get cheated on, struggle to get laid etc to think the respect of the men around you lends much weight.

Now, being the man other men fear is a different critter all together. Power and fear ( when you’re not extremely good looking, or wealthy etc etc) but even in a room full of proven men, women will “fight” over the best looking, best socially etc etc.
